Reason Analysis on Early Failure of Rear Axle Gear for Heavy Truck
The serious wear and local chipping occurred on the main reducer gears of rear axle for heavy truck after using in a relatively short time. By means of the test for chemical composition, hardness, hardening layer depth of initiative and passive gear, the main failure reasons of rear axle gear was confirmed for the overload and insufficient lubrication.
