    Comparison of Mechanical Properties of Aluminum Profiles in Testing Rates based on the Latest and Former GB/T 228 Standard

    • The rate control modes and testing rate were compared based on GB/T 228—2002and GB/T228.1—2010when determining tensile properties.A comparative tensile test on 6063T5aluminum profiles wascarried out, in which the analysis of experimental data showed that the three parameters of mechanical propertiesRp0.2, Rmand A50mmwere of well comparable and endurable in the new testing conditions.
