    EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF CONVENTIONAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND FRACTURE TOUGHNESS JIC FOR 12MnNiVR STEEL USED AS PETROLEUM CONTAINER

    • The conventional mechanical properties of the 12MnNiVR steel made in China with thickness of 32mm which used as petroleum container,as well as the fracture toughness JIC on its welds were investigated in this paper. Furthermore,By comparing with SPV490Q steel,it proposed that the steel is suitable for using as petroleum container,and why the steel has high strength,favorable foughness and good plasticity is also analyzed in this paper.
