    New Method of Fatigue Strength Testing of Crankshaft in PSA

    • A detail description was given about the new method which including repetition and staircase for fatigue strength testing of crankshaft in PSA (Peugeot-Citroen Group) France. Repetition method is the testing method which keep convergencing test load to get closer to the expected fatigue limit, and in staircase method, the load data lifting transform according to interval arithmetic progression stress level, defining the fatigue strength from the order of fracture and non-fracture.By integrated these two methods, the fatigue strength could be tested quickly and efficiently.The new method now had already been introduced and applied in DPCA, and turned to be with high promotional value.
