    Failure Analysis on Leakage of Wind Pipes of Ventilation System of a Nuclear Power Station

    • Through visual examination, material inspection, crack analysis, strength checking and comprehensive analysis, the leakage failure reasons of wind pipes of ventilation system of a nuclear power station were analyzed. The results show that the failure type of the wind pipe was fatigue cracking, and the main reason for the leakage failure was that the wind pipe structure of “strengthening rib through the whole bending angle” was unreasonable. According to the analysis results, the wind pipe structure was improved, and it had got good effect after implementing.
