The fracture morphology, hardness, microstructure and torque/clamp force of the fractured brake bolts were analyzed to find the fracture reason by SEM, metallographic microscope, hardness tester and fasteners-torque/clamp force tester. The results showed that the insufficient clamp force of bolt led the fatigue fracture happened.
