Influence Factors for Abrasive Resistance of Aluminum Alloy AnodicOxide Coatings by Abrasive Jet Method

The abrasive resistance is an important quality index reflecting erosion or wear resistance ofaluminum alloy anodic oxidation coating.It can be evaluated by abrasive jet test method.Some main influencefactors for abrasive jet test were researched, including test pressure, test angle and test distance etc.The resultsshowed that the abrasive jet time decreased as the increases in test angle, the abrasive jet time decreased as theincreases in test pressure, the abrasive jet time decreased and then increased as the increases in test distance.Different test parameters should be used for different samples.
