    NOTCH EFFECT OF METALLIC MATERIAL DURING TENSILE TESTING

    • Under the influence of notch effect,plastic deformation and other mechanical behavior parameters on different section of specimen about plastically metallic material were studied by means of tensile testing. The results showed that plastic deformation of tensile specimen was mainly concentrated in the local zone of adjacent notch. Meantime,the necessity about establishment of notch plasticity parameter and related testing standard was also discussed.
