    • The qnenching crack of engin connecting rod made of 42 CrMo steel after quench and temper was analysizd by means of chemical composition analysis,macrostructure examination,mechanical pooperty test and processing property test. The results showed that the tungsten in matrial existed lead to the connecting rod cracking in queching. And the improved methods were put forward.
