    FAILURE BEHAVIOR OF MECHANICAL PLATING COATING UNDER IMPACT CONDITION

    • Failure behavior analysis of different thickness and different RE content mechanical plating coating under impact condition was investigated with QCJ-120 coating impact tester .The result showed that,the impact scar of mechanical plating coating was adhesive failure. The coating more thicker,the anti-impact ability was more stronger. Although adding appropriate RE can approve the toughness of the coationg,but the anti-impact ability was reduced.
