    DETERMINING ORIENTATION RELATIONSHIP OF TITANIUM HYDRIDE IN TITANIUM ALLOY BY MEANS OF EBSD

    • A New method based on Electron Backscattering Diffraction (EBSD) was proposed to determine the orientation relationship of precipitates, and its accuracy is estimated to be 2.5°. The analytical results of the method about the orientation relation of titanium hydride are in consistent with that of Selected Area Diffraction (SAD). As an example, the orientation relationship of δ/Ti in a Titanium alloy was identified, in good consistence with that obtained by SAD.
