    Compression Properties Testing of Lightweight Honeycomb Structure

    • The compression properties of lightweight honeycomb structure samples were tested, the compression properties testing method of lightweight honeycomb structure was studied, and the compression load-displacement curves were analyzed.The results show that area of the compression samples should be in a suitable range which was useful for getting the stable compression properties testing results of honeycomb structure. According to the variation trend of the elastic stage,the metal honeycomb structure flat compression testing curves could be divided into three categories, which was mainly because the honeycomb lattice were not the same height and the deformation were not synchronized. The defects existing in the metal honeycomb compression properties testing methods were pointed out,and a new elastic modulus testing method of lightweight honeycomb structure was proposed.
