Fracture Analysis of Gear Driven LP Rotor in ZR750 Compressor Low-pressure Nose
Through the physical and chemical analysis of the fracture of gear driven LP rotor in ZR750 compressor low-pressure nose,the results showed that the failure reason was the repeatedly forced operation after machine fault. It made gear under enormous impact and bending stress,and then the fracture happened in the stress concentration area of the root of gear.
