    Rupture Analysis on Dyeing Machine Shell in High Temperature and High Pressure

    • The rupture reason of dyeing machine shell of stainless steel in high temperature and high pressure was analyzed by means of site investigation, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, energy spectrum analysis and so on. The results showed that the failure reason was the SCC occurred in the material of dyeing machine shell in the dye liquor with high concentration of chloride ion, and in the combined effect of operation stress and welding residual stress.
