    • The clip hoop of pours water well head broke suddenly in the work process. The integrative analysis was carried out by use of fracture analysis,chemical composition analysis, metallography analysis and hardness examination. Result showed that the heat treatment to adjust the quality was not made,that was due to the heat crack and the depressed carrying capacity,thus the clip hoop fractured by the work stress.
