Application of Alternating Electromagnetic Field Technique in Inspection for Fillet Weld between Tube and Tubeplate of Condenser

  • The leakage caused by the flaws in fillet weld between tube and tubeplate of condenser will affect seriously chemical industries production. The principle and technology of alternating electromagnetic field technique to inspect the weld surface was introduced, the contrast samples were made and tested. Through analysis on effect and regularity of flaws on alternating electromagnetic field signal, the relationship between the flaws and characteristics of alternating electromagnetic field signal was analyzed and studied.The results showed that it was feasible to inspect the flaws in fillet weld between tube and tubeplate of condenser by alternating electromagnetic field technique.
