Radiation Protection Measures of Industrial Gamma Ray Inspection

    • Based on the site monitoring around the industrial gamma ray flaw detection room, the radiation absorbed dose rate around testing room and the prescribed dose limits in GBZ 132-2008 were compared. The radiation protection measures feasibility of fixed type gamma ray flaw detection was analyzed. At the same time, through theoretical calculation the large radiation dose exposure data was obtained using radiation source inspection without protective measures. It was proved effectively that environment and personnel safety could be protected in gamma ray inspection by the combination of hardware protection and software protection, which provided technical support for management department.
