    Welding Procedure Qualification on 1.25Cr0.5MoSi Steel

    • Due to lacking of matched welding materials for 1.25Cr0.5MoSi steel, CYE111, R307CL and R307BL three kinds of electrodes produced in China were chosen to weld 1.25Cr0.5MoSi steel for welding procedure qualification. The various mechanical properties of the welding joints were tested and compared with those welded with CMA-96MB electrode produced by Japanese God Steel. The results show that the joints welded with the three kinds of electrodes made in China all passed the welding procedure qualification, these three kinds of electrodes could be used in welding 1.25Cr0.5MoSi steel, and the joints welded with CYE111 electrode had the best comprehensive mechanical properties.
