    FRACTURE ANALYSIS OF 60Mn STEEL RING

    • The 60Mn steel ring burst broken in static after assembled. The fracture was analyzed through fracture surface,composition and microstructure. The results showed that there were flakes in the ring and the hydrogen-induced delayed cracking was induced under the hydrogen pressure and the assemble stress. When the flake grew to a critical size to result in burst fracture.
