    Fracture Analysis of 65Mn Steel Rolls

    • 65Mn steel rolls were fractured in the process of decrustation before cold rolling. By means of chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis, the fracture reason was analyzed. The results showed that there were hard microstructure segregation band and MnS inclusion in the center of steel rolls, which led to the fracture of the steel roll.
