Wear-resistant of ZG35Mn2Si2CrB Steel under Middle and Small Loading after Different Heat Treatment

Abstract
The transition temperature of the austenite and martensite of the system of ZG35Mn2Si2CrB wear-resistant steel were determined and heat treatment tests at different austenized and tempering temperatures had been carried out. The microstructures,hardness and attrition resistance of experimental steels were investigated and the attrited appearance were observed.The results showed that,the critical point of the austenite and martensite transition temperature of the wear-resistant steel were Ac1=740 ℃,Ac3=775 ℃,Ms=190 ℃,respectively. The steel had a good hardenability and could get the bainite/martensite complex phase structure under the air cooled condition. The hardness of the ZG35Mn2Si2CrB wear-resistant steel increased with the temperature,decreased with the increase of tempering temperature,but the toughness increased with tempering temperature. The bainite/martensite complex phase that the ZG35Mn2Si2CrB wear-resistant steel got after heat treatment made it had the good mechanical properties,whose high hardness cooperate with fine toughness made it be fit to work under low stress or middle stress frictional condition.
