    Analysis on Drop Weight Tear Test of X80 Pipeline Steel and Its Fracture

    • By means of drop weight tear test (DWTT) for X80 pipeline steel, the effects of test temperature on the fracture morphology after DWTT and the causes of abnormal fracture were analyzed. The results showed that the abnormal fracture always occurred in FATT85 temperature range and the deformation in the thickness direction on the sample side being hammered was great near the abnormal fracture. There was obvious delamination phenomenon in the fracture of the abnormal sample.
