    Analysis on Cracking Reason of Rolling Tube of Titanium Alloy TA10

    • In rolling process of 25 mm×1.65 mm tube of titanium alloy TA10, there were some cracks and defects which did not meet the standard requirements on the inner and outer surface of semi-finished and finished tubes. Through physical testing and chemical analysis on the material, the reason of the phenomenon was due to segregation of Ni and Mo caused uneven physical properties of materials. In the melting process, TiNi and TiMo was added into ingot casting as middle alloy, TA10 ingot with uniform physical properties and small segregation was obtained.
