A Method for Testing Curing Volume Change Rate of Adhesive for Automobile Body Welding

A method that could accurately test the curing volume change rate of adhesive for automobile body welding was introduced. First the volume of the adhesive for automobile body welding before and after curing was measured according to Archimedes law, and then the curing volume change rate was calculated. A large number of test results show that this method was simple, good repeatability and could meet the test accuracy requirement of curing volume change rate of adhesive for automobile body welding.
