    Influence Factors on Transverse Yield Strength Measurement of UOE Submerged Arc Welding Pipe

    • For the main three influence factors on transverse yield strength measurement of UOE pipe, the influence of flattening in pipe transverse rectangular tensile test and the strain aging phenomenon in pipe transverse round tensile test were discussed, and the influence of tensile test speed was analyzed respectively. It was concluded that the reason of the yield strength of transverse rectangular tensile lower than that of transverse round tensile was that the transverse rectangular test pieces was out-of-straight. Moreover, suggestion was put forward about the prevention of strain aging in UOE pipe round tensile test and the uniform of tensile speed in different laboratories.
