    Cause Analysis on Surface Defects of Super 13Cr Martensite Stainless Steel Tubing

    • By means of macroscopic examination, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, mechanical property testing and so on, the cause of surface defects on super 13Cr martensite stainless steel tubing was analyzed. The results showed that the surface defects on tubing were fold cracks and rolling grooves caused by improper rolling technology. It was suggested that the inspection standard of tubing should be more strict, based on the discussion about the effect of tubing surface defects to use life, the repair for tubing surface defects and the inspection standard.
