Cracking Reason Analysis and Prevention of Bellows Expansion Joint of 316L Stainless Steel

    • The bellows expansion joints used in nearly 3 years were penetrating cracking. The cracking reason was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis, macro and micro observation. The results showed that the chloride stress corrosion cracking (Cl-SCC) was the main reason for the bellows cracking, and the corresponding prevention measures were put forward.
