Properties Testing of M40J High Modulus Carbon Fiber

The properties of M40J carbon fiber multifilament and unidirectional laminates which produced by Japanese Dongli company were studied. From five data, the method of chemical experiment, matters needing attention and influence factors were researched. The standard of mechanical tests, test process and failure mode were analyzed. At last the influence on mechanical properties of unidirectional M40J carbon fiber laminates by fiber volume content, gum content and void ratio were discussed.
