    FRACTURE ANALYSIS OF 20Mn2 STEEL TUBE IN QUENCHING AND TEMPERING

    • Fracture occured when 20Mn2 steel tube with size  127 mm×11.5 mm was heat treated. Macro fracture,chemical composition and microstructure were observed and analyzed. The main reason of fracture during heat treatment was that the tube was over heated or over roasting for the too high temperature or too long time.
