    Fracture Analysis on Motor Spindle

    • Chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, metallographic examination and fracture analysis were used to analyze the fracture reason of motor spindle.The results showed that stress concentration occurred at the bottom of spindle tool escape because of the radius of curvature was too small, where the cracks originated under alternating stress, and expanded in the form of fatigue, At last the early fatigue fracture happened in motor spindle.
