    REASON ANALYSIS ABOUT INTERGRANULAR CORROSION ON STAINLESS STEEL SIDE OF 316L-16MnR CLADDING PLATE

    • The cracksin stainless steel and low-alloy steel cladding plate were found after intergranular corrosin examination. The metallographic analysis results showed that,because of the irresistible transference of carbon in binding face between stainless steel plate and low-alloy steel plate,there were lots of netty carbide gathering in the austenitic grain boundary of transitional region of stainless steel plate,which caused the defect in boundary. After eroding in H2SO4-CuSO4 solution and then bending,it appeared lots of intergranular corrosion cracks.
