    Application of Weighted Mean Filter in Image Analysis of Pavement Cracks on Airport Field Runway

    • The image de-noising is an important link in image processing. Based on the algorithm of mean filter and median filter, with the digital image processing technology, the image of the pavement cracks of helicopter airport runway was taken as the research object, an advanced weighted mean filter was suggested, and the experimental effect chart and the data via the simulation were given. The results showed that, the improved algorithm of weighted mean filter was better than mean filter in protecting the details of the image, and smaller in distortion. It can also reduce the ambiguity of image better than typical filtering algorithm. The studies of the image of the pavement cracks of airport runway provided a new method for image testing.
