    Cracking Reason Analysis of S135 Drill Pine

    • Material property of S135 drill pine were tested by means of chemical compositions analysis,mechanical property test and metallographic examination. Fracture suface morphology and corrosion production composition were analyzed by SEM and EDS respectively. The results show that the material properties accorded to the requirement of API SPEC 5D standard and the main reason of cracking was sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) accompanied by CO2 corrosion.
