    Rupture Life and Prediction Method of Ti40 Alloy

    • The rupture life of Ti40 burning resistant alloy under different temperatures was studied by rupture test at elevated temperature, by which the stress-rupture curve of Ti40 alloy was established. The results indicated that the rupture life of Ti40 alloy decreased at the low stress level. Meanwhile the rupture life of Ti40 alloy was predicted by means of isotherm extrapolation, then the results was 828.80 h in the condition of 500 ℃ and 310 MPa, and the confidence level was up to 99.94%, which could provide reference for aircraft engine design and material selection.
