Fracture Analysis on Steel Wire Rod Using for Welding
Methods such as macroscopic evaluation, metallographic examination and chemical composition analysis were used to analyze the fracture in drawing process of steel wire rod for welding. The results showed that surface crack and brittle fracture were formed due to serious work hardening during drawing process.
