    Determination on Intergranular Corrosion Crack of S32101Duplex Stainless Steel

    • Crack was identified in the bend surface after intergranular corrosion test was done on ASTM A240UNSS32101duplex stainless steel in accordance with test method A(16%sulfuric acid/copper sulfate test)of ISO 3651-2: 1998;and crack was also identified when cold bending was done on the blank comparision specimens.It was hard to determinewhether the crack was caused by intergranular corrosion.The crack appearance was observed through metallographic testmethod, and it was concluded that the crack at the bend surface was not caused by intergranular corrosion.
