    Cause Analysis and Preventive Measures on Bursting of High Temperature Superheater Tubes of 680t/h Power Station Boiler

    • Bursting of high temperature superheater tubes of 680t/h power station boiler coccured twice re-cently, and macroscopic examination, chemical compositions analysis and metallographic examination were investiga-ted to find the casuse, the results showed that the failure was due to overheat which led to primary creep, then someeffective prevention was taken.
