SOME TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF IMMEDIATE EVALUATION METHOD AND SYNTHETIC EVALUATION METHOD FOR THE MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY

Abstract
It was proposed in this paper that various test parameters for materials should be adopted for different evaluation methods in order to raise the reliability of evaluation for the measurement uncertainty. The immediate evaluation method was used to evaluate the measurement uncertainty of test results for the tensile property of the hot rolled ribbed steel bars and Vicker hardness of metallic materials, while the synthetic evaluation method was applied for evaluating the measurement uncertainty of testing results for impact test and Rockwell hardness of metallic materials. These typical illustrations showed that some diffculties in the evaluation of measurement uncertainty were solved by synthetic evaluation method for physical testing and chemical analysis of metallic materials.
