    MEASUREMENT OF EXPANDING HOLE PERCENTAGE AND ITS APPLICATION IN TESTING

    • The theory of expanding hole experiments is analyzed and measurement of the percentage is employed to understand the relationship between percentage applied in the testing of thin iron boards which are specifically used in automobile,and total elemental content,thickness of board,strength,elongation,n value etc. The testing method of expanding hole percentage is demonstrated afterwards. The percentage may be used as an important parameter to evaluate formability of thin iron boards specifically used in automobile.
