Application of Outside Micrometer in Sample Moving Device for Jominy Test

The scrapped measuring appliance-outside micrometer was used for Jominy sample moving device when hardness test. By rotating measuring cylinder of the outside micrometer to drive the screw rod, the screw rod would push the Jominy sample moving horizontally on the hardness tester base to achieve accurate positioning of the test points. This method is simple and fast, and could improve the sample positioning accuracy.
