    THEORETICALLY DESIGN FOR AUTOMATIC QUARTZ-SORTING MACHINE

    • An automatic quartz-sorting machine by X-ray diffraction was designed theoretically and several aspects,including measurement principle,measurement errors and design for front mask of detector,were discussed in detail. The results indicated that XX′-tilt and AT cutting angle can be accurately measured by the diffraction peaks of (0 1 1 1) and (0 2 2 3) lattice planes with φ-scan method.
