    • The edge crack on Q345B wide strip steel was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis,mechanical property testing,micro metallographical examination. The results showed that the cast steel existed original flaw while rolling. Great amount metallic inclusion and overtop manganese contents caused the flaw further expand,finally the edge crack formed.
