Chemical composition analysis,microstructure examination and mechanical property testing were used to analyze the diesel cylinder crack. It showed that chemical composition and microstructure don′t meet standard requinements,and there existed stress concentration in crack source position,all of these factors caused the diesel cylinder crack.
