MEASUREMENT OF DIMENSION OF CARBON BLACK PARTICLES IN RUBBER BY MATHEMATICAL MORPHOLOGY

Based on the principle and method of mathematical morphology,the SEM photograph of rubber filled with carbon black （CB） is segmented by using Matlab 7.0. The geometric characteristics of CB particles is acquired,and a new method for judging the dispersion of CB particles and distribution degree is proposed by means of statistical method quantitatively. The scientific method with better precision can remedy the shortage of identification operated manually.
