Larson-Miller Method for Predicting Rupture Strength Being Incorrect

    • Larson-Miller method and isothermal linear method were usually used to predict rupture strength of steel. However, there were big differences between the predicted values of these two methods. Investigating the reason, it was found that this was due to Larson-Miller method being not correct. Calculation and analysis results show that the principle and the results of Larson-Miller method both were incorrect.
