Abstract
Based on the classical tensile test model and combining the force characteristics of anchor rods,an improved tensile test model for glass fiber anchor rods was established. And then tensile test was performed on 22 mm (solid) and 25 mm (hollow) glass fiber anchor rods with the established model. The results show that by the method of anchoring samples with steel casings,it could avoid the sample from directly contacting with the clamp and problems such as slippage and core pulling could be well solved,so the tensile test success rate of anchor rods was greatly improved. At the same time, the accuracy of test results was rather high. Both of the epoxy and cement mortar two kinds of anchoring agents could satisfy the anchoring requirements of the tensile test model. However, the operability and economy of cement mortar anchoring mode were better compared to epoxy anchoring mode.
