    RESEACH OF SURFACE DEFECT IN COPPER-CONTAINING HOT ROLLING STEEL PLATE

    • In order to find out the relation between the surface defects (such as moon form, scab form) and copper phase enrichment on copper-containing steel plate (0.025%~0.28% Cu), a series of tests and the relevant heat treatment have been carried out in this paper. The result shows that this kind of defect belongs to the folding defect, having nothing to do with partial superficial enrichment of element.
