Comparison of Two Determination Method of Single Crystal Orientation and Distribution

The judgment of single crystal orientation plays an important role in the single crystal growing and working process. A comparative study of rocking curve and rotation orientation XRD,with significantly different results,was conducted. The results show that rocking curve determined accurately the crystal orientation of high quality single crystals. However,rotation orientation XRD could effectively separate overlapping peaks with the same interplanar distance.
