    Defect Analysis of Steel Ladle Revolving Platform Connecting Rod Slab

    • The defect in steel ladle revolving platform connecting rod slab was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis,fracture analysis,metallographic experiment and mechanical performance test. And the steel bloom was remanufactured and tested. The results showed that,the main reason which led to 70% of the steel bloom of revolving platform connecting rod scrap was that,the gas content in the steel was high and hydrogen can not be breed out effectively,so that it resulted in the hydrogen brittleness.By means of improving the technology,the testing remanufactured plate was qualified.
