Bursting Reason Analysis for Water Cooling Tube of Boiler

By means of macro inspection, metallographic examination, chemical composition analysis and EDS analysis,the bursting reasons of the water cooling tube of boiler were analyzed. The results showed that the tube where was bursting had been local heating, the microstructure had changed, the mechanical properties of metal materials of the tube decreased, thermal deformation happened on the heating surface, causing the pipeline wall thinning, the bulge deformation and perforation, tube bursting.
